Back and better than ever
January 18, 2010
You know what they say: two steps forward, one step back, a half turn to the left, your server crashes and your site is down for a week.
Where was I?
Oh right, the site was down for a while this week. Hardware failure. Nothing to do with the amazing new features I added to Readfresh lately. For starters, we’ve got Facebook integration so you don’t have to create a new account to use Readfresh. Fast on the heels of Facebook integration comes pop-up snippets of text from each site’s latest update–just hover with your mouse to see what’s new. Then if you see an update you like, you can vote it up. If you’re plugged into Facebook, you’ll have the option to share it with your friends.
And one more thing: real-time web search. Use the Search tab to search through the latest updates across all sites in the Readfresh index. Which sites are covering that breaking story? Now you know.
The question for this week is: how would you like to see Readfresh integrate with Facebook? Let me know in the comments. Also if anyone knows how to turn off bold text please contact me.
